Endorsement - Marshal Hickman

From Proverbs 23:  “But live in the fear of the LORD always. Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off.”

The ministry of Dick Sorenson spans over 40 years and has been irrevocably devoted to the truths of Scripture to release captives from personal bondage, and to create a true and lasting hope for all of life.

From John Chapter 8: “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

By grace through faith, Dick has followed steadfastly his calling and gifting, in the holy love of the Spirit, to bring God’s blood-bought freedom to those calling upon the Name of Jesus for healing, deliverance, hope, life everlasting  . . . .

I have spent many decades as a Christian believer, and as a decade’s long friend and associate of Dick’s. For many years my vocation has been as a community mental health counselor. I know firsthand the human limitations of humanistic theories of mental and emotional recovery in a secular therapy setting. As a Christian believer I appreciate at a depth the principles from Scripture that Dick has sorted into accessible view for ready application-- for true release and healing of the hearts, minds and lives of men, women and children.

Our world today does truly qualify for the assessment of the Psalmist: Psalm 46:6-7 (ESV) “The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The Lord of hosts is with us;  the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

The apostle proclaimed to an unsaved world: “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dick Sorenson has accepted faithfully and with enduring commitment the ministry of leading those who have made that call to the Lord to be saved into the fullness of a Christ centered  abundant life. I look forward to the completed publication of Dick’s training and counseling materials so that those set free in the holy love and might of God shall be more fully free indeed.
